RaceDay Check In App - Kiosk Mode

RunSignup's RaceDay Checkin App now supports Kiosk mode. This allows you to view a participants information, update participant information or view results. With Kiosk mode this allows you to use the Check In app for medical tent, pre-packet pickup participant lookup, packet pickup change table and remote result kiosk just to name a few. Setting Up View Participant Kiosk 


To set this up, under your configuration setup you can select General Options > Lookup Method > Kiosk Mode. 


Once you have Kiosk Mode set as the lookup method, you can set the Lookup Result to View Participant




From there when you scan the participant's bib QR code, registration QR code, or search for the bib number the participants information will populate. If you would like to customize the information that is shown, you can do this by customizing the Preset the Configuration is associated to.




Use Case: View Participant Kiosk


1. Medical Tent

       a. You can configure different information to show by updating the preset associated with the Kiosk configuration. From there you can show any custom question response you may have asked during the registration process about the participants medical history and show only participant information that medical personnel need.

2. Pre Packet Pickup Participant Lookup



Setting Up Participant Information Change Kiosk


To set this up, under your configuration setup you can select General Options > Lookup Method > Kiosk Mode. 


Once you have Kiosk Mode set as the lookup method, you can set the Lookup Result to Update Registrant Info




From there when you scan the participant's bib QR code, registration QR code, or search for the bib number you will be automatically taken to the registrant change form and update any information needed.


Please note, that in order for this to occur, the Preset associated with the configuration must allow for information changes.


Use Case: Participant Information Change Kiosk


1. Packet Pickup Change Table

       a. Often times at packet pickup, participants may want to change events or shirt sizes. You can setup a specific area at your packet pickup location and changes can be made by a volunteer that has their Checkin App setup for Participant Information Change Kiosk. 


Setting up Result Kiosk


To set this up, under your configuration setup you can select General Options > Lookup Method > Kiosk Mode. 


Once you have Kiosk Mode set as the lookup method, you can set the Lookup Result to View Results




From there when you scan the participant's bib QR code, registration QR code, or search for the bib number you will be automatically taken to the registrants result on RunSignup.
