Race Contract

Race Contract

One of the first decisions we made at RunSignup was to have a non-exclusive contract.  This meant we were not locking customers into using just RunSignup, and gave them the right to use any platform(s) they wanted to help their race. We did this for two reasons:

  1. We do not want the burden of an unhappy customer.
  2. Modern cloud services change fast, and customers demand the right to move to serve their best interests.

You can read more about advantages to our non-exclusive contract here: https://runsignup.wordpress.com/2017/06/06/non-exclusive-contracts/

When creating a race or renewing a race, you will be asked to read and agree to the RunSignup contract.

If you would ever like to view your Contract information, then you can go to the Race tab of the dashboard, and then click on Contract.

Contract History

In the Contract section, you will find your Contract History, which will let you know when you signed the contract (usually on the dates of race creation and renewal), and you can click on Click here on each contract signature that you have for that race, in order to view the contract that you signed.

Contract Agreement Required

In some cases, you may be required to sign a new contract for your race.  If this is the case, then you will be able to review the contract on the Contract page of the dashboard, and submit the form to sign it.

After reading the contract displayed here, you can check off the box to indicate that you have read and agree to the RunSignup race contract, and then you can click on the button for Sign Contract.
